Hebrews 11: 3 “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”
Faith is not physical. That means you cannot touch it with your hands or see it with your natural eyes. Although it is real and we can feel its power, we cannot take hold of it physically. The reason is that faith is a spiritual force. It is real, but it is not seen by the natural eye.
That makes it a bit difficult because most of our problems are physical. For example, if a person is ill, you can see from the symptoms on him that he is not well. As a matter of fact, doctors do a physical examination to determine the cause of the sickness. When a person operates in faith, most of the time he has to use a spiritual force to correct a physical situation. That is what God did at creation. He used the spiritual to both connect the state of the earth and to create physical things. He used the power of the Holy Spirit – who is unseen; and His Word – which is unseen – to create plants and animals – which are seen.
Anytime we operate in faith we release God’s spiritual power to work on our behalf. That power rules over nature and as such can correct things in nature that have gone wrong. Faith also has power over the mental realm and so it can correct things that have gone wrong in that realm.
Not only can faith set things right, it can also bring into being things which did not exist before. If it is not there, and it needs to be there God can put it there.
Prayer: Lord, help me to see that the unseen things of Your eternal Kingdom are real and more powerful than the things of this physical world.
